Pre-Made Templates

Sometimes the design inspiration just isn't there when starting a new website... or perhaps you're in a rush and just want to get to creating the content of your pages and don't want to have to deal with the design right away. This is where free pre-made website templates come in. There are a lot of very nice looking ones available!

Templates usually come with completed code, images and sometimes something extra like flash elements or sound! Most of the sites listed here also sell templates for a very reasonable price, so if you don't find what you want in the free section... check out their premium categories.

Open Web Design
Wow, what can I say about this one.. there's 2115 designs available at the time of this review and I can't get over how beautiful so many of them are! They also have a definite tendency to have templates that are fully created out of css and are W3C compliant, so you'll be able to rest easy knowing that the design should look right no matter what browser your visitors choose. I think this one may win as one of my new favorites!

Open Source Templates
This one doesn't have many, but the ones they do have are absolutely gorgeous! Very clean without being bland in any way. They can be used for commercial or personal websites and the only restrictions are that you can't sell the templates and that they ask that you leave the designers link at the bottom of the template.

Bravenet
Some really nice website designs in their Template Gallery. Takes just a second to become a member (it's free) and you could have a new layout on your site today! Looking through these I have to say, there is a LOT of nice layouts available.

Free Web Templates
Flash, HTML, XHTML, business and other template styles are available here. Caution! They also have adult templates, so don't go through this link if your under 18!

Steve's Templates
Free and pay templates are available. Quite nice looking. they also offer an online manual to help you set your site up.

GUI Stuff
Free templates, interfaces, flash, and generators. Offers many free tools to create a great-looking website. You can download one of dozens of graphical interfaces, use their Flash, and graphics generation tools to add spice to your page. They also have a tutorials section to learn how to design by yourself.
